Welcome. If you have landed on this page, it’s likely that you are beginning to thinking about holiday breaks.  This is, of course, a great development and let’s face it we all deserve a well-earned break. 

Here at Álaind Lodges, our website is open for bookings for the year ahead.  We will, of course, keep a close eye on Government advice and its Covid-19 Roadmap for living with Covid-19.  We are confident that we are well equipped to offer safe short breaks and social distancing assured holidays.  While staying with us, you can enjoy plenty of space, nature and fresh air with the peace of mind that robust Covid-19 safety protocols are implemented.

Our Cancellation Policy

Let's cut straight to it....... In the event that Government Restrictions prevent travel and gives rise to cancellation, you will not be charged anything. Regardless of anything else, we don't think charging customers in this event would be the right thing to do. 

Outside of this (in normal scenarios) we provide free booking cancellation for bookings cancelled up to 5 days before the date of arrival. If cancelled later we charge for the cost of the first night. In the case of a no-show, the full amount of the booking will be charged.

Of course, one of the most enjoyable aspects of your holiday is fine food in the company of your loved ones.  There is a good selection of Sneem restaurants who will be implementing their own strategies for reopening safely.  For guest participating in our all-inclusive walking holidays we sometimes dine in-house as well as dining out in the village.

While, 2020 was a year like no other for all of us, the good news is that outdoor activity breaks or active holidays can be the safe way to enjoy yourself.  We specialise in walking holidays at Álaind Lodges.  We are after all located at the heart of Kerry GeoPark, an internationally recognised area for its beauty, culture and landscape.  We can help you organise your own local walks or you can book one of our guided or self-guided walking holidays.  In all cases we cater to a small numbers of guests, which allows for social inclusion & fun while also maintaining safe social distancing.
